The main graphic design/owner of Sparklefish Design, Becky McCall, has been doing graphic design and websites for over 20 years and loves to dive into unique styles and different categories of businesses and organizations. With a website for your business or organization, you’re providing information about what you have to offer, who and where you serve, information about your history and experience, and how people can take next steps to get started with ordering a product or services, booking an appointment, scheduling a consultation, volunteering to help, partnering up with you, etc. With the pre-paid website option, you save $200!
These are the steps we take to get your website up and running:
- Step 1: You provide information and resources about your business… any logos, branding info, content that you would like on the home page and other pages, and the “personality” you would like your website to have
- Step 2: If we’re setting up the site on our hosting, we search for your requested domain name and provide info on what is available, which names are under the $20 cost that would be included, and what options are available at an additional cost (we’ll send an invoice for the extra before purchase). If we’re using your already purchased domain name and hosting, we’ll need access to your dashboard to set up WordPress so that we can get started on the design.
- Step 3: We set up WordPress and provide the login details to you so that you can access your dashboard once the site is completed.
- Step 4: We add any necessary/desired plugins for extra functionality that you may need (for SEO, e-commerce, scheduling, etc). We include setup of up to 3 plugins. Additional setup is $50/hour.
- Step 5: We design the site live and will let you know when we’re ready for you to view the site and let us know what you would like to change. We allow up to 3 reasonable rounds of changes per page. Additional page setup or other design work is $50/hr. We will include up to 10 stock photos/graphics (from Adobe Stock) on your website if needed to help enhance the visual aesthetic.
Please note: we occasionally use AI as inspiration for elements or layouts but will not charge designer rates for these graphics or setup and they would not be included in your 10 “stock photos/graphics”. We also may use AI-produced text content (instead of Lorem Ipsum…) to fill the pages while we are building the design, just to give you an idea of what is possible, until you provide actual text to replace it with or change it yourself, or you’re welcome to leave it if it’s accurate and applies to your business.
